ACS (Aluminum clad steel stranded) has many advantages, it widely used in long-span transmission line, coastal areas and island as well as other hot and humid regions, salt fog regions and heavily polluted regions where the high corrosion resistance strand is needed.
The aluminum-clad steel wire strand combines the high tensile strength of its steel core with the corrosion resistance and conductivity of the aluminum coating. The steel core ensures structural integrity for overhead transmission lines and cables, while the aluminum layer prevents rust, extends service life, and minimizes maintenance. Additionally, the aluminum coating enables efficient power transmission due to its excellent conductivity. This material is widely used in applications such as overhead ground wires, jumper wires, and as the core component of ACSR (Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced) conductors.

Eastful’s wire consists of a central steel core with a layer of high-conductivity aluminum extruded over it. The aluminum layer thickness is at least 10% of the wire radius and approximately 25% of the cross-sectional area.
Eastful’s stranded cable consists of three (3) to thirty-seven (37) strands of concentrically stranded wires with a left-hand lay, unless otherwise specified, and each individual strand is of the same diameter.
